The Engineering and Controls Division of Spears Services, Inc. is a value-added re-seller of  TAC Tour Andover Controls . This company offers three separate controls solutions for buildings. 

The primary product line for HVAC control is the TAC Vista line. This is a LON-based controls system that is extremely powerful and flexible. It offers the stability of a proven architecture with the ability to integrate with other third-party LON controllers. What this means to the customer is that they are no longer locked into using only one brand of controllers on their system. Using standard network variables, LON based controls from other companies, such as "Honeywell" can be placed into operation on the same network without changing the end-users front-end or using expensive and complicated gateways.

The second product line this company offers is the Inet control system. This is a proprietary language system that has been in existence since the 1980's. This system utilizes a token-passing protocol that has proven itself to be very efficient and reliable. The Inet system is designed to integrate building HVAC, lighting, access, and elevator control into one comprehensive package, with access to all parts of the system using only one front-end software package.

The third product line we are proud to carry is the Andover onSITE control system. This is a very simple control system that uses a combination of space thermostats along with a web-based master controller. This eliminates the need for a front-end software package and allows access from a companies, intranet, extranet, or even the world wide web. With TAC controls, building managers can truly control their buildings. From occupancy schedules and temperature setbacks, to controlling who access certain areas of the structure and which lights are active at any one time.
